Eskenazi Hospital & Parking Garage

Eskenazi Hospital & Parking Garage

Keystone Construction was selected as a joint venture partner to manage the construction of this $754 million healthcare complex situated amongst a 37-acre urban academic medical setting.

The design was guided by a unified vision to create a distinctive and consistent environment integrating building, site, and landscape design.

Structured around a central green space, the medical center includes a 315-bed hospital linked by a two-level concourse to a 275-exam room ambulatory care clinic, a faculty office building, a 7-story parking garage with 8 elevators and 2,700 parking spaces, 2 utility buildings, and public plazas. In addition, a 5,000 square-foot rooftop fruit and vegetable garden (Sky Farm) provides patients and employees a convenient opportunity to enjoy nature while taking advantage of a state-of-the-art wellness feature.

Reorganizing care delivery for all key departments has streamlined patient movement and eliminated wasted space, enabling the hospital to deliver care for more patients using less space. The project was completed in 2014 and is expected to achieve LEED certification.
