HAMILTON WALKER’S STEAK SEAFOOD SPIRITS TO ANCHOR KEYSTONE GROUP BROAD RIPPLE DEVELOPMENT
Hamilton Walker’s®, the acclaimed steakhouse and hospitality-driven restaurant group known for premium steaks, seafood, and craft cocktails, will open a new dining concept at Marko on the Canal, a Keystone Group mixed-use development located within the vibrant Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis.
The restaurant will occupy just over 8,000 square feet of prime corner retail space at the intersection of Broad Ripple Avenue and College Avenue within Keystone Group’s Marko on the Canal mixed-use development, serving as a prominent corner anchor tenant that complements an intentional mix of wellness, retail, and lifestyle offerings within one of Broad Ripple’s liveliest corridors. Opening is slated for early 2027.
“Expanding Hamilton Walker’s into the dynamic Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis represents an exciting next chapter for our brand,” said Nathan Escue, Director of Operations of Hamilton Walker’s. “Partnering with Keystone Group at their Broad Ripple Village development provides an opportunity to be part of a thoughtfully designed mixed-use destination that prioritizes hospitality, walkability, and community connection. We look forward to creating a restaurant that aligns with our 1940’s style steakhouse tradition of both polished and casual dining experiences while contributing to the continued energy and momentum of the area.”
Founded in Champaign, Illinois, Hamilton Walker’s has built an award-winning reputation for delivering an upscale, yet approachable dining experience centered around premium aged meats, fresh seafood, signature cocktails, and refined hospitality. The concept is known for pairing timeless steakhouse traditions with a lively atmosphere designed to serve as a gathering place for celebrations, business dinners, and shared experiences.
The enthusiasm surrounding Hamilton Walker’s arrival is shared by both community leaders and private investment, reflecting a common vision for attracting high-quality businesses that build on Broad Ripple’s celebrated dining and entertainment scene while honoring the Village’s unique character.
“Broad Ripple continues to thrive because of thoughtful investments like this one,” said John Barth, Indianapolis City-County Councilor representing District 7. “I want to thank Keystone Group for its sustained commitment to our neighborhood, and to Hamilton Walker’s for selecting Broad Ripple for its next chapter. This investment builds on the momentum already underway in the Village, strengthening our local business community, creating new spaces for residents and visitors to gather, and reinforcing Broad Ripple’s standing as one of Indianapolis’ most vibrant neighborhoods.”
“Broad Ripple has always been a place where people come together over great food and beverage experiences, and we’re excited to welcome another outstanding restaurant to the neighborhood,” said Mary Dicken, Executive Director of the Broad Ripple Village Association. “Hamilton Walker’s brings another outstanding dining experience to an already wonderful mix of restaurants, giving people yet another reason to spend time in the Village.”
“Hamilton Walker’s is exactly the type of tenant we envisioned for Marko on the Canal,” said Ersal Ozdemir, Founder and Owner of Keystone Group. “At Keystone, we’re intentional about curating destinations that strengthen the neighborhoods we invest in. Hamilton Walker’s embodies the energy, hospitality and sense of place that have made Broad Ripple a neighborhood built on food, art, culture and connection.”
Designed to blend seamlessly into the fabric of Broad Ripple, Marko on the Canal brings together residential living, neighborhood retail, wellness and destination dining at one of the Village’s most prominent intersections. Hamilton Walker’s represents another milestone in delivering Keystone Group’s vision for a thoughtfully curated mixed-use destination.
