COSTAR GROUP AWARDS KEYSTONE GROUP WITH COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE YEAR
The attorneys of Massillamany Jeter & Carson are the face of a new commercial development in northeast Indianapolis.
The new headquarters of Massillamany Jeter & Carson is at 14 Municipal Drive in Fishers, Indiana, just over 30 minutes northeast of Indianapolis along Interstate 69. The four-story, 23,710-square-foot office opened last year in Fishers’ Nickel Plate District, a municipal neighborhood complete with restaurants, shopping and a landmark amphitheater.
The project has earned a 2026 CoStar Impact Award for Commercial Development of the Year for Indianapolis, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
MJC’s new building faced several development challenges, including the relocation of a stormwater retention pond, high construction costs and supply-chain disruptions.
Now complete, the office property features advanced tech infrastructure, open interior spaces, plenty of natural light, collaborative spaces and a signature rooftop — the area’s sole elevated venue with direct views of the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater.
What the judges said: Judges praised the project’s “delivery complexity,” as well as a “substantial coordinated effort” by public and private development partners.
“This development is a pivotal commercial anchor for the Nickel Plate District, diversifying the submarket by introducing high-level professional services alongside the area’s only rooftop venue. It is being selected for the extraordinary challenges overcome during construction, including the complex relocation of a stormwater retention pond and navigating the environmental requirements for wildlife relocation. Despite a volatile economic climate, the project delivered a design-forward, energy-efficient workplace that reinforces investor confidence in the Fishers market,” said Lora Moore, executive managing director at ALO Property Group.
