Top Indianapolis businesses forge partnerships with football’s national governing body
Indianapolis-based USA Football, the sport’s national governing body, today announced that four Indianapolis businesses – Keystone Construction, the Indianapolis Colts, PNC Bank and Baker & Daniels – have joined its roster of corporate and strategic partners.
Keystone Construction continues its long-standing commitment to Central Indiana’s economic growth by being instrumental in USA Football’s relocation from the Washington, D.C.-area to Downtown Indianapolis last September. Keystone offers construction management, general contractor, design-build, project management, owner’s representation and development services and specializes in historic renovations, redevelopments and new construction projects. Keystone Construction serves clients in educational, municipal, multifamily, commercial, retail, institutional, industrial and health care markets.
“Keystone Construction is pleased to enrich the Greater Indianapolis community through our USA Football partnership,” Keystone Construction President ERSAL OZDEMIR said. “We are proud to support USA Football’s mission of ensuring positive youth football experiences throughout Indianapolis and beyond as well as to promote the sport’s values of teamwork and responsibility that make football an exceptional game for our kids.”
The Colts and USA Football have worked together since 2007 to ensure great football experiences for children through coaching education clinics and full-day informational meetings for Indiana’s youth football league commissioners. The Colts and USA Football also provide tens of thousands of dollars annually in football equipment grants for local youth and high school programs based on merit and need.
“We are delighted to join Keystone Construction, PNC Bank and Baker & Daniels as members of the USA Football family,” Colts Owner and CEO JIM IRSAY said. “We’ve always been – and always will be – committed to Indiana youth football, and USA Football has proven to be a terrific partner that shares that commitment.”
The PNC Financial Services Group is among the nation’s largest diversified financial services organizations providing retail and business banking; residential mortgage banking; and specialized services for corporations and government entities, including corporate banking, real estate finance and asset-based lending; wealth management; asset management; and global fund services.
PNC representatives led an informational session designed to train youth football commissioners on financial best-practices for their leagues last August at the NFL/USA Football Youth Football Summit in Canton, Ohio.
“Youth football leagues and the dedicated volunteers who make them run instill an ocean of benefits in the girls and boys who love to play this sport,” PNC Regional President STEVE STITLE said. “Sound financial planning is essential to keep these grassroots organizations strong. We’re excited to share our expertise in this area through usafootball.com and USA Football events.”
Baker & Daniels is a law firm experienced in working with clients across litigation, corporate finance, health care and life sciences, labor and employment, intellectual property, international strategy and more. With offices in Indiana, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Beijing, Baker & Daniels will propel USA Football’s mission with legal guidance and support for the youth football community through USA Football communication channels.
“USA Football provides valuable direction for the millions of players, parents and coaches who comprise our country’s youth football community,” Baker & Daniels Partner JOHN T. NEIGHBOURS said. “Baker & Daniels is proud to contribute legal guidance and insight for the sport’s selfless volunteers.”
“Valued partnerships with widely respected corporate citizens like Keystone Construction, the Colts, PNC Bank and Baker & Daniels stand among the many reasons why we relocated our national office to Downtown Indianapolis,” USA Football Executive Director SCOTT HALLENBECK said. “We’re proud to be associated with these community leaders who care about our city, our kids and America’s favorite sport.”
