Keystone Construction Honored as a 2009’s Healthiest Employers of Indiana Finalist

(Indianapolis) – Keystone Construction has been recognized as a finalist for the 2009 Healthiest Employers of Indiana, an awards program presented by the Indianapolis Business Journal and Mavum Consulting.

Fifteen employers from Indiana were honored as finalists of the inaugural awards program, held on September 14th in Indianapolis. Five winners were selected in each category, grouped by size and number of full-time Indiana employees.

Healthiest Employers is an innovative awards program that recognizes organizations that proactively shape the health of their employees. These companies have made a commitment to impact the health of their workplace and their bottom line.

The winning employers ranged in size from 2-99 employees, up to 5,000+ employees. Among the 15 honored companies in 2009 is Keystone Construction. Keystone offers many wellness benefits to their employees. Some of these benefits include weekly massages, nutrition consultation, a weekly supply of fresh organic fruit and incentives for completing a health assessment. Many employees have acquired a healthier lifestyle since the implementation of the company’s wellness plan. Several employees have competed in triathlons and biking activities and 50% of the smokers have successfully kicked the habit. Keystone continues to enhance their program and will soon offer an in house fitness facility and a measurement system to help track employees health.
